Mr. Olive Spring 2010 Denim Preview #2

In a previous post we showed some of the spring 2011 denim selection and also described some of the details of how and where Mr. Olive makes their denim. Now we will show the complete spring 2011 selection.

Mr. Olive 13.5oz "Natural" Regin Washed Selvedge Denim. This model uses Mr. Olive's exclusive 13.5 selvedge fabric which has a smooth surface and is soft to the touch. It is washed in regin with natural wear lines and is overdyed with earth tones (beige color). The earth color takes inspiration from early American Nevada coal miners. Available in slim straight (shown above), slim tapered, and boot cut.

Mr. Olive Pima Raw Indigo Selvedge with Sulpher Dyed Weft. This denim uses a 100% pima cotton 13oz raw denim fabric in a dark indigo color and a charcoal (sulpher) dyed weft. The pima fabric (thin, super long thread) provides softness, strength, and polish. The denim will fade naturally with a slight hint of both gray from loss of indigo and charcoal. The denim is pre-soaked and ready to wear (one wash). Available in slim straight and slim tapered (shown above).

Mr. Olive 13.5oz Damage & Repair Washed Selvedge Denim. Features soft denim fabric and light indigo color and damage and repair hand work. Available in slim straight and tapered (shown above).

Mr. Olive 13oz Pima Regin Washed Indigo Selvedge with Sulpher Dyed Weft. This denim uses regin to create a natural wash. The wash shows hints of both light gray from loss of indigo from the denim surface and dark gray from the loss of charcoal from the backside of the fabric (weft). Fabric is soft and will become more soft with wear. Available in slim straight (shown above) and slim tapered.

Mr. Olive Signature 13.5 Raw Selvedge Denim. This is Mr. Olive's standard raw selvedge denim which we currently stock in both slim straight and slim tapered (shown above). Also available in boot cut. Fabric is pre-soaked and ready for wear (one-wash).

Mr. Olive 13oz Wrinkled Pima Indigo Selvedge with Sulpher Dyed Weft. Same model as the Pima Raw except goes through a washed process that creates wrinkling throughout natural wear locations such as along the front pockets and behind the knees. Available in slim straight and slim tapered (shown above).

Mr. Olive 13.5oz "Used" Light Indigo Selvedge Denim. This denim uses Mr. Olive's signatures 13.5oz fabric which is soft to the touch and has a smooth surface and is washed for natural faded appearance.

Mr. Olive x CA4LA Collaboration Marine Casquette - Available Spring 2010

Mr. Olive x CA4LA marine casquette is a spring 2011 collaboration work with the Japanese leading hat manufacture CA4LA - pronounced "Ka-shi-la" (means head or top in traditional Japanese). CA4LA has 18 flagshops in Japan and one in London. This collaboration will be a spring 2011 release, approximate arrival December 2010.

The casquette is made with 100% cotton with "peach" process for a soft and smooth surface (like that of a peach). With cotton interior lining, adjustable elastic band, marine-style rope accents, and a single snap on the bill. Available in brown (brown with brown accents - as shown in the photographs), black (black with black accents), and khaki (khaki with black accents).

E.O.I. (Eagle of Independence) Spring Summer 2011 Leather Goods

All E.O.I. leather goods are hand-crafted using 100% vegetable tanned leather by artisans in Japan. Many items are made each season and always available. The following items are new E.O.I. items available beginning with the Spring 2011 season.

MEA01 - E.O.I. x AMP Japan leather wallet chain is a collaboration work with AMP Japan - one of Japan's leaders of skilled artisan hand-made jewelry. This collaboration combines Mr. Olive 100% vegetable tanned leather with AMP Japan hand forged brass and delicate hand craftsmanship. The result is a hand woven wallet rope made with wax coated polyester thread, which light weight yet durable. Available in black or brown.

ME314 - E.O.I. original key ring. New design featuring a solid brass with nickle finish quick release latch. 100% polished vegetable tanned leather. Available in black, brown, green, blue, red.

ME315 - E.O.I. Slant Cut Bracelet. New design using 100% polished vegetable tanned leather. Available in black, brown, green, blue, red. One size.

ME313 - E.O.I. Standard Key Ring. New design featuring 100% polished vegetable tanned leather and solid brass in nickel finish spring release latch. Available in black, brown, green, blue, red.
